Our top-of-the-line R40 recumbent bike features a heavy-gauge step-thru frame that allows easy access to the seat. The ideal gear-pulley ratio and a heavy 11-kg/ 24-lb. flywheel provide a smooth and quiet ride. The breathable Comfort Arc™ reclining mesh seat will keep you cool and comfortable.

The R40 has three different consoles to pick from: Classic, Elegant+ and Touch+ Screen.

The Classic console was designed with one goal in mind - to get you started on your workouts right away. Simply press Go! The extra-large display makes it easy to view time, distance, calories, resistance, watts, mets, RPM, or heart rate. Choose from one of five preset workout programs or go at your own pace. Built-in contact grips and a telemetric receiver are available for heart rate monitoring.

The Elegant+ console features an advanced full-color 7" touch screen and 13 programs, including the acclaimed Sprint 8® workout and two Virtual Active™ videos. Includes ViaFit which enable you to share your workout data with your favorite workout app wirelessly. You can wirelessly monitor your heart rate, too, using the included Polar® chest strap.

The top-of-the line Touch+ console is loaded with features, including Virtual Active™ workouts, which take you through stunning destinations in high definition. The 10" touchscreen display offers 17 pre-programmed workouts, as well as iPod® and iPhone® compatibility. Includes ViaFit which enable you to share your workout data with your favorite workout app wirelessly. Heart rate training with the included Polar® chest strap and wireless receiver. For added convenience, it also includes a calendar-style workout journal that stores data for multiple users.
